What song have you been listening to lately, and why does it move you?Lately I have been listening to the song "Live Like We're Dying" by Kris Allen. The song basically tells the listener that they only have a certain amount of time to live, therefore that time must be cherished and valued. There are many examples in the songs that give people a view of life and how it could change in a matter of time. For example, "And if your plane fell out of the skies, who would you call with your last goodbye, should be so careful who we live out our lives, so when we long for absolution, there will no one on the line, yeah." That is only a selected part of the song but the overall song is amazing. It explains that there is only 86400 seconds in a day and each second matters, so make it count! Also to tell the ones you love that you love them before its to late and things on that line. Overall, I believe this song is beautiful as well as very motivational and everyone should listen to it at least once.

This is my philosophy - to treat every day as if it were a blessing. An old Buddist teaching compels folks to learn three useful pieces of information each day as a means of self improvement...
ReplyDeleteI'll give the song a listen, or maybe you can remind me to play it in class.
